Sew Swimwear - One Day Class
During this class we’ll be sewing up the fabulously flattering Cottesloe Swimsuit by Megan Neilson. It’s such a versatile pattern, with one-piece swimsuit option with a gorgeous tie-back detail or bikini with standard or high-waisted briefs the pattern comes in sizes 0 – 30.
On this class you’ll learn;
How to measure your body.
Making any pattern alterations to get the right fit for you
How to cut and sew super stretchy fabrics.
Sewing with swimwear elastic.
The class includes full guided instruction, use of our Brother sewing machines, tools, a copy of the Cottesloe pattern so you can make it again at home plus refreshments.
You need to bring:
You’ll need to bring your swimsuit fabric, and optional swimsuit lining or powermesh (once you have booked you will get info about where to buy all the supplies), plus coordinating swimsuit elastic.
Skill Level:
Confident sewer. This is not a beginner sewing class – you do need to know how to use a sewing machine, and have made a few garments under your sewing belt.

The class will be held at our sewing studio in Sheffield, CRAFT is at 639a Abbeydale Road, Sheffield, S71TB. CRAFT is on the first floor and has access via a flight of stairs.
