Lined Waistcoat Vest Workshop
During this workshop you will learn to make a beautiful fully lined vest waistcoat. Perfect for layering and for keeping cosy. The pattern has an inclusive sizing range. The pattern has 3 different length options and can be adapted to make a unique garment. It also has pockets.
THIS COURSE WILL COVER
Suitable for confident beginners, the class will cover:
· How to cut your fabric and make all necessary markings.
· How to cut fabric pieces using paper pattern pieces.
· How to construct inseam pockets.
· An option of sewing in bias binding to finish the vest.
· How to line and bag out.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This class is suitable for confident beginners. Anyone who can use a sewing machine and would like to learn to use an overlocker.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
You will need to bring fabric suitable for making your waistcoat and a lining fabric.

WHERE WILL THE WORKSHOP BE?

All classes take place in our studio space in Sheffield. We are on the main bus route along Abbeydale road.
We have a dedicated workshop space. We are located within The Old Coach House building. Access is via a flight of stair. Unfortunately we aren’t accessible to wheelchairs or pushchairs.
The studio has 8 Brother sewing machines, 4 Brother overlockers and all the sewing equipment you need for your sewing projects. We have a fully equipped kitchen and toilet.
