Sew Stretch - Sweatshirt or Sweatshirt Dress Workshop
This workshop is to make either an oversized sweatshirt or Sweatshirt Dress. We will be perfecting our Overlocker skills and using the overlockers to make the garment.
The sweatshirt and dress are designed to be worn oversized and are offered in an inclusive size range uk size 6-22. The pattern has 3 different length options and can be adapted to make a unique garment.
THIS COURSE WILL COVER
Suitable for confident beginner sewists, the class will cover:
· How to cut your fabric and make all necessary markings.
· How to cut fabric pieces using paper pattern pieces.
· How to use an overlocker.
· How to sew in an cuffing.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This class is suitable for confident beginners. Anyone who can use a sewing machine and would like to learn to use an overlocker.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
You will need to bring fabric suitable for making your sweatshirt or dress. Sweatshirt fabric or french terry.
You will need between 2 and 3 meters depending on the size and length chosen.
WHERE WILL THE WORKSHOP BE?
CRAFT Sheffield

All classes take place in our studio space in Sheffield. We are on the main bus route along Abbeydale road.
We have a dedicated workshop space. We are located within The Old Coach House building. Access is via a flight of stair. Unfortunately we aren’t accessible to wheelchairs or pushchairs.
The studio has 8 Brother sewing machines, 4 Brother overlockers and all the sewing equipment you need for your sewing projects. We have a fully equipped kitchen and toilet.
